If congress passes this bill it would increase the available EB visa numbers and will make life easy for lots of indian and chinese citizens.

Hi All,
My employer is going put one newspapaer ad for two employee's. He is doing this to save moeny. Is this ok to put one ad for two employee's? Will there be any probelm in PERM.

I am a July 19th filer and I have not received my receipts. I checked with my lawyer yesterday and they have not received either. Since my lawyer issued all the checks I have no idea whether my checks are cleared or not. So here is my question. How long will it take for the actual reciept after the check clearance.

Now for GC, if I mention the previous work ex in the form, do I need to provide the returns or something??

Hi,
My I-485 was filed in June'2007 in Nebraska service centre since my company is based in Michigan. I live in PA.
I am filing my EAD now but according to the latest instructions for EAD, the filing centre should be decided based on where you live. So for PA, the filing centre listed is Texas.
My question is should I file in Texas based on where I live or in Nebraska where my I-485 case was filed. The USCIS case tracker also says that my case is at Nebraska.

I've got some questions/comment to understand your situation
1. How do you know it is stuck in security check? What is your attorney's suggestion
For regular EB applications you can apply for 485 when priority date is current
2. EAD is generally adjudicated within 90 days
3. She should have a visa of her own - if she cannot be your dependant

1500 H-1Bs were claimed in the last week and just over 20,000 remain for the fiscal year. Based on a four week rolling average (1175), I am projecting the target will be exhausted in 17 weeks which will be February 23, 2011. Previously, I had been projecting March, but the overall usage of H-1Bs has been somewhat busier in the last month than in previous months. Hey everybody, My friend have a situation. He is from Haiti and he been in the USA since 1998 on a visitors visa but stayed. Graduated school, but couldn't do nothing else because of his papers, he lived with his sisters and they didn't work on it. Had a little situation in 2007 where he left the scene of an accident because he didn't have papers. They called it a felony, and now the (TPS) came around and he got denied because of that felony. He doesn't know where or what to do, don't have money for lawyers because he cant work. Anybody out there been there that knows what to do please feel free to do so. GOD bless

Hi All,
We have sent AOS, EAD and AP applications for my wife and me on August 7th. So far, we have received receipt notices for EAD, AP and AOS for my wife only with Notice Date of September 17th. To my surprise the Priority Date field is left blank on all the receipt notices. Just wanted to check with others who have received their spouse's receipt notices if this is usual and nothing to worry about.

I had filed my i-485 along wid my whole famliy on 2nd july . My checks got cashed yesterday for all of us. But when i seee online its shows case pending for all of us expect my younger son ..w ehave reciept but we cant locate his reciept number online.Its showing number doesnot exist . So wat can be the reason behind it. I have reciept numbers for his i-485 and i765 juss can see his status online..

1) now if i want to go there... will there be any problem
2) if I want to apply for another VISA work or Tourist... will i get?
You should not have a problem getting a different visa to come to the US to work or visit, assuming you qualify for the new status. It's not unusual for someone to get a visa that they never use.
